This class is ongoing with sailors constantly improve their sailing and racing skills. This class is ideal for those who want to race competitively. Sailors are eligible to enter in our 2 “home” regattas, and sailors may travel to a number of regattas during the season.
Sailors will learn boat handling, boat trim, boat care and the fundamentals of racing. This includes: the course, starts, finishes, tactics and rules.
- Classes are on Saturdays from 1-4 pm
- Club boat use included – you provide life jacket, clothes etc.
Cost: $75 annual membership fee plus $75 per month. $25 discount for paying the full semester in advance. $10 discount for 1st sibling, $20 discount for each thereafter. There is a $250 fee to join the traveling SAISA High School Race team.
